The Cochrane Curling Club is proud to Host 5 Major Club events each year along with other outside events including the Cochrane Oilmens.

JUNIOR BONSPIEL - JANUARY 7, & 8TH, 2012.

Our Junior Bonspiel was a huge success with 16 fun but competitive teams from all over southern Alberta.   This years spiel is being held Jan 7th & 8th 2012 & the fees are $120.  Thanks again to Mabbott & Company for being our sponser again this year.

SUPER SENIORS SQUARES BONSPIEL- DECEMBER 1st , 2nd, &3rd,  2011. 

December 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, 2011, with draws no earlier than 9 AM and no later than 4 PM.  Their will be 4 or more squares with two being  the plus 70  group & 2 under. Each age category will have the option of a social square and a competitive one.  Round-Robin within each square with all square winners earning cash and advance to the Finals.

MENS BONSPIEL  - JANUARY 27th  - 29th, 2012.

This is a premier event on all curling calendars including the SACA events list as we sell out every year with most of the best men curlers in Southern Alberta competing for cash and the COCHRANE DODGE TROPHY.  With an entry fee of $220. and a guarantee of 3 games against some of the best with a guaranteed $tbd to the winner.   Whether its Gowsell, Dembo, Scabar, Bakker, or the local favorite from the super league Zubot the curling is always exciting.

MIXED BONSPIEL - FEBRUARY 10th - 12th, 2012

Always a couple pleaser whether you play with your partner or someone else’s with prizes, draws and a dinner that’s worth the price of admission alone and the coveted   TROPHY going to the winner.  Entry fees of only $220. per team along with some great wine specials at the bar makes this another great trip to Cochrane.

STICK BONSPIEL - SAT FEB 25th, 2012  (1 DAY EVENT)

This is our third annual stick Bonspiel running one day with a great lunch and a lot of fun.  This is open to 2 person teams following the standard stick rules. This is a day time spiel at $50. entry and guaranteed 3 games.

LADIES BONSPIEL - MARCH 16th   - 18th, 2012

Last but not least this our last club event before playoffs features more prizes than you can imagine with the host committee rounding up awesome gifts to go along with great cash prizes and of course the NORTH STAR FORD CUP. Another great event for a $220. team fee and again the ladies get a sweet deal with dinner and treats throughout the weekend.
